Can't find drivers for SB0410 SBLive! 24 bit sound card that came with Dimension 8400

​ I cannot find the sound card drivers for Model SB0410 (SB Live! 24 bit) sound card that came with a Dell Dimension 8400... the update is on the Dell website and the Creative Labs web site- but not the original drivers. ​

​ This peripheral is not recognized by WinXP Home. No "Drivers or Utiiltes Disc" were included in the original shipment of the computer either.... ​
​ ​
​ I Googled and searched the Internet- cannot find drivers, whatsoever. ​
​ ​
​ What's next? ​

There should be a folder on your computer that should be something like: C:\Drivers
That folder might contain your audio driver.

Sound Blaster® Live! 24-bit ADVANCED HD™ Audio CD, this should be the label of the disc for its drivers...

You can use the Windows XP/Vista driver from the Audigy 4 card and it works. Just "run" the download and it says "no hardware or product found"

Go to My Computer and right click on the Audio Controller that has no driver. Select Update Driver and then tell it to install the software. It finds the driver and works.

does not work

and the file: SBAX_PCDRV_LB_2_18_0001.exe

cannot be found.

This it the right drivers and programs for the Creative Sound Blaster Card ( Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit Internal) that came in the Dell Dimension 4700 as far as a can tell. It worked for me doing a fresh install of Windows XP Pro on a Dell Dimension 4700 computer:
File Name : SB24_VTDRV_LB_1_04_0077.exe
This suite of drivers and applications has been updated and combined for your convenience. It installs the following applications to control your audio device's settings. For more details, read the rest of this web release note.

Applications included in this release:

  • Creative Audio Console (for Windows Vista™ only)
  • Creative Device Control
  • Creative EAX Console
  • Creative Speaker Settings

  • Enables 44.1 kHz sampling format for SPDIF In and Out.
