Audio - High Pitch and Fast
My audio sounds like the chipmonks are talking. This is primarily for Internet-based audio feeds that I play on either Windows Media Player and/or iTunes. I can play a CD-ROM audio just fine and it sounds great. Any ideas?

You must install chipset then the Dell soundmax drivers for your dsystem.
What is the serial number/service tag of your system and the OS version including service pack level?

The Tag # is 55L9811 on an Opti GX240. It isi running Windows 200 Pro SP4 5.00.2195. It has a P4 1.8 Ghz CPU with 512 of RAM. The OS reports an Intel 82801 BA/BAM AC'97 -2425 audio controller.
Not sure what to do next. I have loaded the latest versions of WMP and iTunes to no avail.

Thanks for the link pal...that worked out great! The sounds are playing with the correct octave and speed again. Not sure how the wrong driver jumped into the picture, but Dell's are definately better than Toshiba's!
Have a good one!
