Inventory Collector
I am using OMEssestials version 2.5, and I've recently built 2 Servers, one an R720 and the other an R930. When it comes to adding them into the OME console, they show up in Non-Inventoried Systems, and under the Issues and Resolutions for Updates tab, it says; Inventory collector is not installed on this server, In Band updates cannot be applied. So does anybody know, is there an executable to install for this? If so, which is it? Thanks

Hi, and thanks for the query.
There is one more option within OME which you could probably explore. In absence of inventory collector on target server, OME provides a capability to push inventory collector to those targets and collect inventory on-demand.
The option can be found under Manage -> Remote Tasks -> Common Tasks -> Create F/W & Driver Inventory Task
Please chose appropriate options in the wizard pages and give it a try. Once the task finishes, server's inventory information should be available in OME.
