Dell Mobile Connect - Tracking Concern
Despite the supposed ability to opt out of usage tracking, the “send anonymous usage statistics from my phone” setting keeps automatically turning itself back on. It will do this every time my phone is restarted and whenever I open the app on my phone. I have an Android phone. I haven’t found any other references to this so can’t tell if it is a widespread issue or unique to me.
So far I haven’t noticed similar behaviour with the Windows 10 app.

A fix will be deployed via a Hotfix/Patch update and will/should be available to DL from MS store after 12/28/21, +- since its the holidays.
Root cause: Google had a policy change that trigger the auto check each time you connect/start DMC, which was not visible when DMC 4.0 was launched.
