Reconciling AD accounts

Is there a way to manually kick off an account reconciliation process? Or is a manual process needed for this instance? Long short of it: User left in 2015, accounts were disabled. They were supposed to be renamed and archived. User returns in 2018. Apparently user's administrative account was not previously renamed. It got renamed, and new account created with same (original) username in a roughly 5 minute span. Dell Data Security server currently reports both accounts with original username, in 2 different AD locations. Both also having identical UPNs. My guess is that since there was no reconciliation that occurred after original account was renamed and before new account was created, is causing issues. Any way to remediate this short of digging directly in to the database?

Hey Jeremyak,

Sorry to hear about the difficulties you're having with this.  In the database we don't consider the users UPN a unique identifier we actually base the uniqueness off the SID we get from AD.  The best way to clean it up will be to call into our support queue at +1.877.459.7304 Ext. 4310039 and letting one of the techs review the data to see the options.  They'll be able to walk you through the clean up processes as well to ensure we don't mess up anything as well.
