Dell Encryption v11.4.0

Changes in this Release:

  • Encryption Enterprise now supports Multi-disk encryption with Self-Encrypting Drives and Full Disk Encryption.
  • Dell Encryption now supports Windows 10 LTSC 2021.
  • The Dell Encryption vault file, a secure container that stores policy and key information, is now located in C:\ProgramData\Dell\Dell Data Protection\Encryption\Vault
  • An issue resulting BitLocker Manager interpreting policies from the Security Management Server as invalid is resolved.
  • An inventory issue resulting in incorrect encryption percentages displaying in the Security Management Server is resolved.
  • A rare issue resulting in encryption status not displaying in the Data Security Console after a reboot is resolved.

Dell Security Management Server/Virtual v11.4.0

Launched May 10, 2022

Changes in this Release:

  • Self-Encrypting Drives and Dell's software-based Full Disk Encryption now support Multi-Disk encryption, allowing administrators to protect all fixed disks on endpoints that contain either all Self-Encrypting drivers or all traditional disks. These policies are available at the Enterprise, Endpoint Group, and Endpoint levels.
  • Multi-factor authentication is now available in the Management Console > User Admin and User Group Admin. This option displays for super administrator and account administrator roles.
  • In Management > Notification Management, a Configure SMTP tab has been added to allow the administrator to quickly configure and test SMTP settings within the Management Console.
  • The input fields for domain configuration have been restricted to only allow for a hostname to be set. Direct distinguished name lookups have been removed to avoid LDAP lookup failures.

Dell Trusted Device v4.3.0

Dell Trusted Device is an application that allows an administrator to determine the health of the BIOS on their supported Dell platforms.

Launched: May 3, 2022

Changes in this release:

  • BIOS Verification now retrieves the BIOS version that is installed during the verification process.
  • The Trusted Device Event Repository now supports BIOS version reporting.
  • The JSON configuration files used to create custom compliance policies in Microsoft Endpoint Manager have been merged into a single file
