BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO Blue Screen

Endpoints using Dell Encryption Enterprise or Dell Encryption Personal on Windows 10 version 1903 (May 2019 Update / 19H1) or later may display a blue screen operating system failure BAD SYSTEM CONFIG INFO (BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO) after installing Windows operating system updates from August 2019 and later.

Dell is actively working with Microsoft to provide a fix to prevent this issue from occurring on an endpoint. If an endpoint is currently affected, a local security administrator (LSA) recovery can be performed to resolve the blue screen. For the latest information, reference Dell Encryption Enterprise / Dell Encryption Personal Endpoint Displays BAD SYSTEM CONFIG INFO After Installing Windows Update KB4512941 and/or KB4515384.
