DDOS 7.7.0.1 - Stuck in Firmware update after reboot unless you hit escape.
We have a couple of dd6300s that are on 7.7.0.1-1007134 that were updated to 7.7.0.1 close to 12 months ago.
We recently had to reboot them and found they never game backup. After going onsite and plugging into the console we can see that they are stuck in and update loop or firmware prep where if we hit escape the DD6300 will cancel and then continue to boot normally.
We thought it was and weird occurance, but we recently powered down another dd6300 to replace a Cooling fan that is showing as failed and the same thing happens.
Any thoughts? They are off Dell support and are under a third party warranty and have not been able to find any known issues for this DDOS version.
Are there other forums that are popular to Datadomain product lines?

7.7.0.1? that is a bleeding edge 7.7 version right there, isn't it? At least at the time. wouldn't you want to try what a LTS version like the very recent 7.7.4.0 does? We have 7.7.3.0 running only on DDVE's in the cloud, so wouldn't be able to shed any light on that specifically compared to 7.7.0.1.
Still running very recent 6.2 on 6300's on our end. Can't recall ever having heard about being stuck at boot.
