Warranty Validity Overseas
Hi There,
I plan to buy three Alienware laptops in the UK but these laptops would be used by people in Singapore.
Would the warranty for these laptops be valid in Singapore?? And would I have to buy any special kind of warranty for it to be valid overseas?

The basic warranty is 12 months, return to depot repair. That warranty is valid only in the country of purchase.
To qualify for international transfer, the system must
1. Be sold in Singapore. If it is not, no transfer.
2. Have a Dell onsite service plan purchased with the system.
3. You must be the registered owner of the system (not usually a problem with Direct from Dell purchases, but it can be with third party -- amazon storefront, EBay, etc. -- purchases.
