warranty, monitor purchased from UK, moved to Italy

Hi, I live in Italy. On Amazon.it they are selling right now a AW3423DWF from Amazon.uk. It says sold and shipped from UK. In Italy it seems that this model of the new OLED Alienware line up is not available on the Dell store. So I want to ask just in case:

If I buy this monitor that I guess is a UK monitor and it have some problems like burn in or another issue in the future that force me to RMA it, can I do it anyway if I import it from the UK by contacting Dell.it?

If the product is not sold on your countries Dell sales site, you will not receive support for it in your country when you import it.

I get what are you saying, but its true even if the dell.it support site has listed ?

Having drivers available does not necessarily mean the monitor is sold in Italy.  If it isn't, as Chris M has noted, there's no support.

The other thing to be very careful of is that you're buying direct from Amazon.uk and not from a third-party storefront on Amazon.  There's a world of difference between the two -- essentially a storefront is a third-party sale - not covered by Amazon's support/return/genuine-article policy.

Thank you for worrying about my purchase, luckily its sold and shipped by amazon.uk! 

about the support, my theory is that in this specific case maybe it still has support because its just a variant of a monitor that it's sold by dell italy, the AW3423DWF.

infact, if i go to the " ask for technical support " page it's even listed on the menu and i can select it and go on with my request for support , but of course i cant go on because i dont have any service tag.
