Need help with warranty terms for S3221QS

Dell S3221QS

Dell S3221QS

I am trying to get a S3221QS repaired from my credit card company and they keep saying that Dell wouldn't make such a repair under the 1-year warranty.

My monitor has the issue where the bottom bezel starts to peel away from the screen, probably due to the adhesive becoming weak.

That kind of repair should be considered workmanship / defect under Dells warranty terms, but my credit card is trying to say Dell wouldn't fix such an issue.

My monitor would need to be sent to Dell for repair, but the credit card company are trying to get out of paying for the repair.

I can no longer ask Dell tech support for help because I am out of warranty and OOW support are no help at all via phone calls.

My credit card company says they will only repair if I can get something in writing saying workmanship is covered under the 1-year warranty and the bezel peeling / detachment falls under Dells workmanship warranty terms for the monitor.

I don't know what else to do since I can't contact tech support.

* That is correct. Dell has never repaired monitors. We exchange them while still under the purchased warranty period.

My monitor has the issue where the bottom bezel starts to peel away from the screen, probably due to the adhesive becoming weak.
* Again, no repair option. Since you are out of warranty, Dell cannot exchange it.

My monitor would need to be sent to Dell for repair.
* Again, monitor repair has never existed at Dell. So impossible to send it in for repair even if still under warranty.

My credit card company says they will only repair.
* We do not offer a monitor repair service so how could a credit card company repair a monitor?

and the bezel peeling / detachment falls under Dells workmanship warranty terms for the monitor.
* Only if still under the purchased warranty period.
