Monitor warranty from retailer
Dell P2219H
Hello,
I purchased a new monitor with 3 year warranty in December 2019 from an authorized online retailer. I have my original invoice/proof of purchase. Now I need service on it. However the warranty not only claims to be expired in July of this year, but it lists the incorrect country of purchase (was purchased in USA). I have tried about 5 times to call Dell, but I keep getting transferred to out of warranty support. Once I forced them to transfer me to in warranty support and the agent said there was nothing he could do to help/fix it, and that I have to contact my place of purchase. Which I did, guess what, they said to contact Dell and to get a case number. I am really busy and don't have hours to exhaust getting someone to fix this and update the warranty info. How can I get this resolved quickly, and the correct warranty applied based on my proof of purchase? Thank you very much in advance.

@jshorr24 it looks like the Dell-Cares team got the transfer taken care of and a monitor replacement set up. If you have any other questions/concerns please reply to their PM.
I apologize for the inconvenience with this but am also glad that you called it to my attention so our team could get this handled correctly for you.

Contact the retailer -- only they can answer your questions.
If the "authorized retailer" was a big box store -- Best Buy, Staples, Newegg or Amazon (in the case of the last two, direct sales from either newegg.com or amazon.com), there should be no issue.
If the system came from a seller with a storefront on Amazon, Newegg, Best Buy, etc. -- only the seller can assist you.

Thank you for the reply. I have already contacted the seller - B&H Photo (Authorized reseller). They told me that I must get a ticket from Dell for them to reference in order to assist. After more than 5 attempts I am unable to get this. So I am literally begging for someone from Dell to assist me. It should not be this difficult.

Now I am getting DM's from the same automated bots, giving them my service tag and getting the same YOUR WARRANTY IS EXPIRED message. Can a human being, a homo sapien, assist me in fixing this?

Please help. I am literally begging. I keep getting DMs from what appears to be a human. Asking me for proof of purchase, asking me to email a pdf of my invoice, asking me what the subject of my email was. I have done everything asked. Now it’s back to bots telling me it’s expired. For the love of all things holy can someone help?
