Dell WUR policy, USA to India

In month of march i purchased a laptop from dell us and at the time of purchase I transfered my ownership to india now after 2 months of purchased I faced 4-5 different issues in the laptop, after multiple repairs which were a cause of thier unprofessional technicians I opted for a complete replacement but they aren't the dell replacement team is not agreeing with me that my laptop will not be replaced, even the laptop is sold in India and my warranty is completely transfered to india, and now my product has no relation with dell us neither it is registered there.

This m15 R4 was purchased in the USA with Basic warranty only. The warranty was never transferred to India. Yes, parts can be replaced in India. But a like for like used system exchange can only happen here in the USA.

Hi @Itsjstmee welcome to this free user to user Alienware laptop discussion forum. 

The Opening Post text is confusing. Guess that you want replacement refurbished system, after Dell assigned local Contractor with 100% Dell warranty messed-up hardware installation. It is Dell policy to offer replacement system if the same issue is not fixed after three separate attempts. Please click on @DELL-Cares and send Private Message requesting assistance. 

Which Dell warranty do you have in India? Having purchased in the United States, Premium Support Plus with international warranty would be ideal.

I've a basic warranty , my system is completely warranty transfered and registered in India only the the invoice is in usd and all the problems are done by their technicians only, in India bcoz alienware laptops are very rare and only few people have it. Generally technicians are not able to fix them. And one more thing does dell replaces the system with refurbished one or new system??

Hi @Itsjstmee thank you for sharing update. 

If in the US, within the first 30 days there is option to Reject new system delivered with faults and get new replacement system or full refund. Dell Refund policy, New vs Refurbished - Dell Community Thereafter the Dell warranty applies and refurbished parts are installed or in response to Dell policy, refurbished systems might be offered. 

The Dell warranty and policy in India might be different. 

If in the US, there are no Dell Technicians, only Dell assigned local Contractors that might never have worked on a Dell system. 

The earlier 'Consumer support services for PCs' image says Basic Hardware Service varies by system and region.

Dell will not replace a system that has been transferred out of market -- repair is your only option.  

See the consumer terms of sale you agreed to with your purchase (#11 is the relevant one).

Hi @Itsjstmee  please clarify what it says on the Dell invoice. Does it say that system will be delivered to your address in India? If yes, Dell warranty was registered in India (not transferred). Thank you.

They only give us the , freedom to transfer warranty to different countries, your point is not clear

If the system is purchased with onsite service, and the system is sold in India, the warranty will transfer and the system will be fully covered.

Any system exchange or replacement is limited by warranty to 30 days from shipment.  Beyond that, Dell can choose to replace a system rather than repair it, but that option applies only in the country of purchase.  Once you exported the system yourself, that option no longer exists.

System exchanges beyond 30 days are at the discretion of Dell support, but only in the country of purchase.

Good luck with that, since you did not purchase the system in India.  I would suggest you read the rest of the US terms of sale, since the system was purchased in the US.
