Dell support - worst experience ever

I have a latitude with PRO Support = the best available

The Internal screen started flickering intermittently

I have now done the following with Dell support multiple times over

BIST test = result successful
ePSA diagnostics = all tests fine
reboot in safe mode, uninstalled the VGA drivers = could not detect the flicker but as explained intermittently
clean boot = still detected the flicker
tested plugged in = still flickers
tested on battery = still flickers
tested using a different Dell charger = still flickers

Dell support just keeps sending me in a repeated loop doing the above steps over and over again and simply will not entertain the fact that the screen itself/or screen cable/or other hardware component could be faulty.


I’ve sent multiple videos clearly displaying the flicker experienced – which they confirmed.
I’ve sent multiple videos with the laptop connected to an external monitor (side by side) and only the internal screen flickers – the external monitor NEVER flickers but Dell still insists we have a software/OS related issue and just restarts the process with a new Agent every time

I am beyond frustrated at this point!!!!

2 full days of my life wasted and still no closer to a solution????
