Dell lying about delivery and order system stinks

Ordered a laptop on the 5th of July received an email on the 8th "your order has been sent early ". On the 11th in the morning I was informed delivery date would be the 16 the of July. In the afternoon on the 11th of July I receive another email from Dell stating there is a delay in "production" and the unit will be delivered later, the 25th of July. So left or right Dell isn't being truthful. Because the unit cannot be send to be back in production a few days later. Whenever asked to clarify Dell doesn't come up with a clear answer. It's now the 15th haven't heard anything. Provided track and trace doesn't provide any useful information at all. And the funny thing is I tried after ordering the unit to have the windows version changed to Pro. But that wasn't possible at all because it was in production. Well according to the tracking via the Dell website the thing is still stuck in production?
