Cancel Order or Modify It

I recently purchased an Alienware m16 which was supposed to arrive on the 1st of July to a friends house since I dont live in the USA. However, on the 1st I recieved and email saying that my order was delayed. It is now estimated to be delivered on the 11th of july, when I talked to customer service I told them no one would be able to recieve the order since no one will be there on that date, hence, why I asked for expedited shipping for the 1st of July. Now, I am trying to cancel the order and they wont let me and it hasnt even been shipped, I would like to at least change the adress in order to recieve and make the return of the product since I want to buy an alienware that is more expensive and has better specs, but customer service doesnt want to let me upgrade my order an pay more... Just doesnt make sense. Someone please help.
