Increasing the size of a LUN defined behind Invista for a Redhat server

Just a quick question regarding what to do after I increase the size if a lun attached to a Redhat Linux host.  In the windows environment it is very easy and straightforward using Diskpart to extend the partition.  In the Redhat linux world, is there a similar utility and if so, can this be done without taking the host down?

Thanks,

Kevin

I have a tech note from Netapp which does the same job, even though it was offline. EMC should have one too then.

The steps mentioned are dismount the LUN, rescan scsi bus, resize LUN using fdisk
