Connectrix FOS download
Hi All,
I need to upgrade our Connectrix FOS on 6 switches.
Try as I might, I cannot find it on PowerLink. I know the Connectrix is a Brocade, which is exactly the same type of switch as an HP StorageWorks SAN Switch (which we also have, and are phasing out).
Is it possible to use the Brocade FOS that I can download from there site? EMC hasn't gone and added a bit of code into the release to tweak anything>

I can get it from EMC Service Partners Web Access. Ask your local EMC rep to get an access to PartnerWeb

Connectrix Switches and Directors
Connectrix Manager
No way to download the firmware...

contact PowerLink support so they can modify your portal access. You want to make sure you use EMC supported verson for FOS, typically EMC approved version lags behind what's already out on HP/Brocade website.

regular customers will not get access to partner website. As long as you switch is registered with EMC, you should have access to the download section for FOS.

Hi,
Thanks all for the help. It was a combo of all of them, but I ended up switching to my partner status, and then was able to download the software. I am used to the ease at which you can get firmware off the HP site...getting used to Powerlink is taking some time
