PowerEdge 1950 the server does not turn on itself after a power failure

Hello,

I have a PowerEdge 1950 server that does not restart itself after the power returns. I looked for options in the bios but didn't find anything. It doesn't matter whether the server was previously turned on or not. Can anything be done about it?

Its named "AC Power Recovery" and can be found under "System Security" and what youre looking for ist the "Last" value, which is the default.

Yes this is an option you need to configure. The question is where its hide on a 20 year old server (BIOS, iDRAC or LCC)

@Origin3k

thanks for the quick reply. I didn't find it in bios (unless it has some strange name), in drac5 as well (possibly it needs updating), there is LLC (but where to look for it?).

Ok, I looked up what LCC is and it turns out that PowerEdge 1950 does not have such a thing - it is too old. :(
