Brocade DCX/CISCO-Nexus interoperability
Working on a project where using Brocade DCX's running v6.2.0g on core and now moving to CISCO. Is MDS 9148 w/code v5.1 compatible with the Brocade DCX's at v6.2.0g?
Just purchased Nexus 5k too. If we run Nexus 5k's w/MDS 9148's in NPV mode will the converged FCoE functionality still work? Anyone have info on this?

I can answer the first question for you.... You will need to upgrade your ED-DCX-b to either FOS 6.3.1a, 6.3.2a, or 6.4.1_fcoe and the MDS-9148 must be running NX-OS 5.0(1a).
The following Cisco and Brocade interopmode configurations are supported
Cisco's "Interopmode 1" and Brocade's "Interopmode (true)"
Cisco's "Interopmode 3" and Brocade's "Interopmode (false)" with Core PID enabled
Please note: Fabric Binding as well as any Brocade or Cisco security features are not supported.
Other feature limitations may apply.
These Cisco and Brocade interop configurations are only supported with the Brocade switches operating in "interopmode 0" or Brocade native mode with Core PID set, and the Cisco
switches operating in "interop-3"
