Compellent SC4020 increase configured space

We have a SC4020.

According the picture the configured space is at 93 TB of an available space of 164 TB.

Even if my storage types seemed to be quite full, in my point of view, there would be still plenty of space. Please, how do we increase the size of our existing storage types by the existing free space?

Hello Norbert,

Your SC4020 will grab the free space as needed for the storage types.  In most cases data progression will run daily & it will move the data that is not accessed that often to the lower tiers as seen in your second picture.  You have 0% oversubscribed space as well, so you are not in any danger of a lockout due to low space.  As an example, if you were to write 5tb of data to your Tier1 Raid 10, it would pull the space it needs from free space to complete the writes.  You will not get any low space messages or alerts, but you can look in the logs and see that space was added to the tier by the system.
