Recall policy and data in archive restore

Hi, i`m start testing CTA 7.5 and have some questions.

I can`t find any information in documentation about recall policy and archive restore.

Can i set recall policy per filesystems/folder/file basis? For example, one file recall fully and other recall partially from archive.

How can i see archived data at archive share?

How can i full recall(restore) all data from the archive repository to source or other share?

  • you can only set the recall policy per filesystem only

How can i see archived data at archive share?

  • you are talking about the primary or secondary storage?

How can i full recall(restore) all data from the archive repository to source or other share?

  • kindly refer the fs_dhsm command from Celerra or VNX CLI command guide for more details. There is a parameter to set the -read_policy_override to {full|passthrough|partial|none}.
