Hello Scott,
Yes, Practically this is possible.
However, this will not hinder CTA performance.
What the customer should keep in mind is, the CTAVE might end up with space constraints in future.
1 million archived files will approximately take 1GB of CTA DB space alone and CTA could archive 500 million files.
Customer should really know what his usage will be, for him not to run into a deadlock situation.
Mainly, if the storage space is full, CTA services will stop and could cause a DU.
