VCloud data protection extension - retention policy is not working

Hello,

We have recently implemented VCloud data protection extension in our environment. it seems it is working well but we found an issue where the retention policy is not working correctly, though it was setup as it should according to the EMC installation guide. In short, the retention policy we setup in DPE  keeps backups which will expire in 2022 instead of in the next 14 days or so, as the retention policy says. That causes the repository to run out of space. Please, let me know if anyone can help. I can't get support from EMC for one month now as people are only directing me to installation guides. So far, nobody jumped in a session with me to troubleshoot this so I am now out of ideas.
