VNX 5400 Ghost entry for Bus0 enc4

Our customer is using VNX 5400. After rectification some cabling issue a ghost entry has been created for bus0 enc4. In reality this entry does not exists. As a result of this entry we are not able to install Snapview enabler in this Storage.

Following is the error message while installing Snapview enabler.

RULE NAME: No System Faults

RULE REVISION: 7.33.9.1.55.1

RULE STATUS: Rule failed.

RULE DESCRIPTION: This rule checks for specific faults on the storage system.

RULE RESULT: The following faults were reported on the storage system:

    Bus 0 Enclosure 4 : Missing

The installation cannot continue until these faults are resolved.

RULE INSTRUCTION: The installation cannot continue until these faults are resolved.
