Upgrade Path for CLARiiON
Hi,
We have been using CX4-240 SAN with FC Disk for a long period of time. We are considering upgrading the SAN.
Currently, we are using only FC Disk for CX4-240 and mainly for vSphere ESXi Hosts. There is around 20TB Storage being in use.
We are looking into setting up Mutli-tier Storage (i.e. SSD and SAS or NL-SAS HDD).
We prefer FC instead of iSCSI. Just wonder what is the low / mid range EMC product that is recommended ? Will they be still using Unisphere Manager ?
Thanks
kelleg

Did you find what you needed?
You can use SAN Copy to migrate the data from the CX4 to the Unity - pretty sure there's a white paper for that.

My supervisor prefers to use SAN from HP.
