Oracle VM 3.2.9 and EMC Clarion CX4-480
Hi !
Is there any software required to use EMC storage on Oracle VM - something like ESI ???
I have a 2 machine server pool in Oracle VM Manager and a physical disk under Storage that is defined on an EMC Clarion CX4-480 storage array.
I am having a problem - I cannot get the 2 servers in the OVM server pool to both see the EMC storage at the same time - Only the first server up mounts the storage then the other server does not / will not mount it.
I have tried a lot of things but so far no luck - except on the first server up ...
Any ideas ??

Not knowing anything about the Oracle I'd guess that this is something that is controlled by the cluster configuration of the VM's - you really don't want multiple servers accessing the same disks without cluster control, so the configuration of the cluster would control who has control.
