Click on Virtual Disk 2 - that will take you to a second screen. On that second screen, click on the "Disk Pool x" - that will show you the disks used in the Pool - the status for each disk will be visible - if you have a faulted disk, one of the disks will be noted as faulted.

If you have "Hot Spares" then a single faulted disk should be replaced by the hot spare. You can click on Hot Spares on the mail menu on the left side to see what you hot spares are and if there are in use.

Generally, when a disk fails, the hot spare will take over, allowing you time to replace the failed disk. You'll need to contact EMC or your service partner to get a replacement EMC disk. Off-the-shelf disks will not work.

Hey Alex,

Any hardware (drive) failure?

A lil bit of what happened could help, A power outage or improper shutdown a panic?

Hi Alex,

It's important to know what caused the failure.

Is it a double faulted raid group or issue happened right after a sudden power outage.

It's better to open service request with emc support team providing fresh set of diagnostic files from SPA and SPB to analyze the issue further and provide proper recommendation to fix it.

Regards,

Raj

Restart of Faulted Storage Processor resolved my problem.

Caution: Before restart verify the Power Path Connectivity from Servers.
