Dell Laptops
I want to buy a laptop which is manufactured by a popular brand. I currently have an HP laptop and don't want to buy another HP laptop. I looked at Dell laptops and they are good but my problem is with bloatware that dell installs on their machines. I read at a lot of places that Dell bloatware affects performance and battery life. Can someone clarify if that's the case?

It can depending on the choices you make to configure the system you are interested in. But the easy way around that would be to do what I do with any Dell I purchase. Clean install the OS and then you decide which software apps you want installed. Windows will auto activate since you will already have an activated copy linked to your MS account and/or the MB. That way you have a very clean OS installed on the laptop.
