It is possible though nothing concrete has been reported with respect to Dell laptops and other products. This link has some information. Keep in mind that almost all motherboards for PCs come out of China though many are also produced in Taiwan. And Amazon is reportedly stockpiling merchandise made in China just in case the supply chain is interrupted. But considering the human tragedy taking place over this disease, supply chain problems could be the least of China's concerns.

Got the notice from Dell that the deliver of my workstation purchased a couple weeks back has been delayed approximately 10 days, who knows if it will incur further delays

As a partner reseller, I just tried to order servers and monitors on Friday and was told that production in China was halted. 3/4 models of monitor were out of stock. The server model we were quoted was out of stock and parts not available. Not too sure if the sales rep was jumping to conclusions, but it seems like it’s are scarce at the least!
