EMC Centera, retrieval of data based on a specific tag
Hi,
I have just watched Centera API Overview video where an example of retrieving a file from Centera was given.
In order to do that a ClipId (CA of the CDF) is used to get a ClipRef (clip reference id) that is in turn used to get a tag, open a stream and read a blob.
However, what if I have the following problem: I need to retrieve all emails from July 16, 2010 to May 5, 2013 for the following set of people: a@xxx.com, b@xxx.com, c@xxx.com.
How would I do that?

The simplest way to solve your problem would be to use the interface or the API of your email archiving application!
Reverse engineering the raw storage format of a Centera API email archiving application is unlikely to lead to a useful solution within a useful timeframe.
Is there a reason you can't use the Discovery features of your email archive to handle this problem?
