Centera SDK and Solaris 11

We are using Centera SDK 3.2 in our application which at run time links to the Library provided in the SDK.

Currently this application is built and run on solaris 10.

However, we plan to deploy this application build on solaris 10 on a solaris 11 system

My query is - is the EMC Centera SDK Version 3.2 Patch 3 support/certified to work on Solaris 11.

If not, is there any other version of the Centera SDK that would be supported on Solaris 11.

You can now download the Centera SDK 3.3 for solaris which supports Solaris 11 from the SDK download section of this community.

This is the first revision which will support Solaris 11

Hi,

Thanks for the information. Kindly let me know if the Centera SDK 3.3 will have support for Solaris10 too ?

Is there is matrix that could tell us which centera SDK is supporting which versions of Solaris OS?

The compatibility matrix has not been updated with Solaris yet.  Could EMC update the matrix as soon as possible?

The release notes of Centera SDK 3.3 for Solaris states the following client software platforms as system requirements:

  • Oracle® Solaris™ 11 (64-bit) (SPARC)
  • Sun® Solaris™ 10 (64-bit) (SPARC)
  • Sun® Solaris™ 9 (32-bit and 64-bit) (SPARC)
