Best practice for how to distribute access nodes across cubes in a cluster.

I know you can have two access nodes/cube. If I have two cubes in a cluster and 4 access nodes, isn't it a EMC best practice to have two access roles/cube?

Hi,

The basic reason why we should have two access nodes per cube in a cluster is due to connectivity issues. A host communicates to the Clusters through the access node so in the event of failure of once access Node the host can still communicate to the cluster through the other.

Hi,

We must install minimum of 2 access nodes (per rack) howver 2 per cube is a good option. The Maximum number of Access nodes May not exceed half the number of nodes in a rack.
