NS120 Control Station unexpected shutdown

Hello to everyone, this is my first post into EMC community...

here's my problem...

The Control Station of my NS-120 has shut down without any reason at least four time last month and I had to power-on the CS manually every time. I've looked here and there into Celerra logs but I can't find a reason for those shutdowns.

Can someone help me to solve the problem?

Could it be a hardware issue?

Thanks in advance

Regards

Fabio

Unless someone is running a command to halt the CS, you've probably got a hardware issue.  Have you checked the system log on the Control Station itself?  Running the command "dmesg" on the CLI will get you started.

You can also look at the /var/log/messages file for more details as well.

Let us know if that helps!

Thanks Karl for your answer. Unfortunately no relevant informations found on message file...

It seems more like a sudden power loss, not a regular shutdown. What is strange is that I need to remove the power cord at least for 20 second and then plug it again before try to power up, otherwise the CS won't start remaining with an amber fixed led on front panel.

The more I write, the more I think that is really an hardware issue...
