M620 SAS to SATA
Hello,
My current M620 setup has SAS drives, I wanted to know how I would do a conversion to SATA drives, does it need a new backplane or is there another way?
Is this even possible?

DomServers,
The SATA backplane part number is CYK8N, and I believe you should be able to change them out. I would take care in doing so though.
Let me know if this helps.

If you have the SAS backplane, you may want to try the SATA with it, as it appears to accept both, but let me know.

SATA in SAS Ports works fine.
SAS in SATA no chance, it doesn't work.
