Shrinking log file leads to full backup

Question

We have Avamar configured for taking backups of MSSQL database. When we do shrink a log file the avamar left the incremental backup and takes the full backup. so that we are forced to take full backup on-demand procedure to take the incremental one. how can we eliminate such kind of problem? and what is the reason avamar takes the full backup after shrink?

What I want to say is After doing logfile shrink the scheduled incremental backup started at the specified time but it tries to take the full backup. However, the time we gave for incremental is less than full backup so that after trial it says 'time out'.
