SBT error 158 during rman backup
I am currently having the following error when doing backup to rman

ORA-19506: failed to create sequential file, name="db_DBNAME_xx_xx_1_2", parms=""
ORA-27028: skgfqcre: sbtbackup returned error
ORA-19511: non RMAN, but media manager or vendor specific failure, error text:
sbtbackup: avtar failed with error code 158

Could you please advise how I can resolve this

Hi there. I am far from an expert, but I would look for this log file: sbtio.log. This is the media manager log where Oracle should put the log messages.
May be in a location like this: /u01/app/oracle/diag/rdbms/ / /trace/sbtio.log
This log file may give you better error messages or something to continue troubleshooting with. Good luck.
