SAP Database Restore from VM Images using Avanmar

Hello All,

Our Basis team has been asked to support a request to perform restoring a full SAP database backup from older VM images from HPE Data Protector created backups by using Avanmar. Although it is not possible to do "bare metal" restores from vm images using the HPE Data Protector tool because it requires volume data bckups, I'm asking if there are similar limitations using the AVanmar tool or is this even possible to restore a full SAP database into another system from snapshots from old volume data backups created from another tool?
