Need a fresh avamar Mtree

So I've got a few backups on our avamars DD mtree, but I need that mtree to be completely empty. What is the easiest way to do this?

Is there a way from either Data Domain or Avamar to just delete the existing backups or do I have to wait for them to age out or something?

Or is there a way for me to delete the existing Mtree and have avamar create a new one automatically?

You need to remove the backups from DD through Avamar (manually delete).

Then if this is not enough for you, you will need to remove the DD from Avamar.

I would recommend to do it the clean way. After all the steps, remove the mtree from DD and run cleaning to get rid of it. Then add DD again to Avamar and you have fresh mtree.
