Avamar Rest API - Database Ad-Hoc Backup Parameters

We are on Avamar v. 19.1.  Swagger 2.0.

We are trying to use the Rest API commands ("client-controller") to kick off an ad-hoc backup of a SQL Server database.  We know how to retrieve the CID to target the appropriate SQL Server.

The problem is that the example provided is for kicking off a filesystem backup.  We have scoured the internet and the Dell website for an example of what JSON parameters we would pass to kick off a database backup and have had no luck.  We have also opened a support ticket with Dell, but they could not help us and instead referred us over to Professional Services.

It's interesting to us that the Avamar Rest API 7.X manuals provide some details (but none specific to databases) and are very long (e.g. 100+ pages), but the same manuals for later versions (e.g. 8.X or 9.X) have been trimmed down to just a few pages.

Can anyone please help with the following:

1. Can you please provide a set of parameters that I could copy/paste into the "param" field of Swagger to successfully kick off a SQL Server database backup?

2. Does anyone know why the older API manuals had more information and the newer ones are stripped down?  Is this a strategic direction that Dell is headed to have only Dell Professional Services setup these kinds of capabilities?
