How do I add a mouse click to an alienware keyboard macro?

I know how to add key clicks to a macro but I cannot find a way to add mouse clicks to the macros! Is it possible, and if so how can I do it?

Thanks

The Macros tab allows you to load, delete, or create new macros for your Alienware gaming device, and perform key mapping for your gaming mouse. Macros are selected keystrokes and mouse clicks that you could record and save. Using macros allows you to playback these keystrokes and mouse clicks by clicking on the macro keys. 1 3 5 2345 Import macro Export macro Expand key mapping 􏰄􏰅􏰂􏰆􏰆􏰇 2 Add macro 4 Delete macro 1 Creating a macro 1. Click on the Add macro button on the bottom of the screen. The [NEW MACRO] appears on the screen. 2. Hover your mouse pointer to the new macro window then click on the Record button. 3. Perform the keystrokes or mouse clicks that you want to include in your Macro.

My version of alienware command center does not seem to record the mouse clicks. It will only record the keyboard clicks.  Do I need to do something to enable the mouse click recording?

Make sure it’s the latest version and that’s it.

check if there’s a setting in your version of the command center that enables mouse clicks.

I'm having the exact same issue but with the Aurora R7 desktop.  Has anyone found a solution to the the issue?

I believe I have the latest version of the command center installed and I'm unable to find a setting for enabling mouse clicks.  I can change the lighting and other settings for the mouse but the command center is not recognizing the mouse clicks when recording macros.

This is what I have installed:

Alienware Command Center 5.2.91.0

Alienware 610M Wired/Wireless Mouse

Alienware AW768 Keyboard

After spending several hours with tech support, they finally came to the conclusion that since Alienware 610M mouse was not designed for Aurora R7 desktop computer, the mouse click recording macro option is not available.  The website for the Alienware 610M mouse provided the following information:

Designed For
  • Alienware Area-51, Aurora, Aurora R9, M15, M17
  • Dell G5 5090

Even though the mouse was not specifically designed for a specific computer desktop and/or laptop, it amazes me that Alienware cannnot come up with a software that would allow recording mouse clicks on a $100 mouse.  What a disappointment.  I will be testing the Alienware 610M mouse once my new M15 laptop arrives and if the recording mouse click features is also not available, I plan to return the mouse and will either purchase to a Razer or Logitech mouse product.  I was using the Razer Death Adder (V1) mouse which cost a fraction of the Alienware 610M mouse and had no issues with recording mouse clicks macros.

Alienware I swear dude, could have just said "No you can't record mouse clicks." I've also been trying to figure out how to have a mouse click macro on my mouse, and I do think I figured it out though, just buy a new mouse or keyboard that's cheaper and better that has mouse macros enabled.
