I just came home on a lunch break and both are working just fine now.

Hi @Penguin52 welcome to this free user-to-user Alienware laptop discussion forum.
My SupportAssist - Check for Updates works. Dell Support has "officially" expired on my old (2018) Alienware laptop, so automatic Alienware Update - Check for Updates does not work.

I wound up calling tech support. We uninstalled and reinstalled both apps. Still didn't work. I had to send the tech screen shots of the error messages. He has escalated it to level 3 support. This is a m17R4.

Someone in the Alienware group I’m in said it may be a .net related issues which Microsoft released an update for this past Tuesday.
