18 R1, WiFi card cabling cause temperature problems

I once accidently swapped the cables (connected the black cable in the white spot and the white cable in the black spot) and when I turned on the laptop, it was literally upside down (screen off, keyboard light on). I then put the cables properly and the laptop ran properly. Will this mistake affect the temperature sensors? will it cause issues related to the temperature? (In my temp monitoring programs the temps are fine though, which I hope they are the real ones)

Reversing the antenna cables should not cause a problem. And those antenna cables have nothing to do with temperature sensors.

Be careful when disconnecting and connecting the tiny antenna plugs that fit over the tiny posts on the card (kind of like snap fasteners on a coat). They are fragile.

Whenever touching components or working inside a computer, wear a grounded wrist strap, also called anti-static wrist strap, ESD wrist strap, or ground bracelet. It's a cheap and sensible precaution. Rest the laptop on an anti-static mat or at least a reasonable alternative such as corrugated cardboard. (Repeatedly touching a metal case part is not sufficient mitigation with modern components.)
