17 R5, GTX 1070
Hello, I plugged in ac adapter without battery connected as it was swollen and it didn't start at all. I plugged in the battery just to check if it's going to turn on but still nothing. I want to mention no lights at all not even on power button or bios sounds. Does this means my laptop is dead?

If it wouldn't start up with or without the battery, chances are the mainboard is damaged. With the battery removed, and the power plug disconnected, hold the power button for 30 sec. Verify that the LED on the DC plug is on before you attach the adapter; if it's not, the adapter is bad.
If the system won't then power up, the mainboard is bad. It doesn't take much swelling of the battery to destroy the mainboard.

Thanks, now I don't even know if I should wait for the battery or just to cancel the order..
