Alienware x51 r2 undetected RAM beeping

A few weeks ago, my computer (x51 r2) started crashing and beeping one time repeatedly after I turned it off and then on. I watched videos of people having the same problem. Some of the comments of the videos said that they just removed the RAM and placed it back in and it worked for them.

Today, I just tried it and it made another problem. I have almost no knowledge of computer assembly but I watched a tutorial of how to upgrade RAM on the x51. I followed the steps and when I turned the computer back on, it started to beep two times now. I know this indicates that the RAM couldn't be detected. This is a bigger problem than I had before, now I can't even boot up my computer. I spent hours trying to fix the RAM but with no success.

Some possible things I might believe have happened:

1. I set up the RAM incorrectly. I'm pretty sure that the switches to lock the RAMs are supposed to click and lock automatically when the RAM is placed correctly. I accidentally closed it manually and believe that might have broke the switch(?). Or maybe I still might not have understood how to place the RAM in.

2. I applied too much pressure and damaged the RAM stick or/and motherboard (which is what I think is the thing under where the RAM is placed) However, I don't see any damages.

This is my first post here and would like any possible help. I would just like to know how to have my computer detect my RAM for now.

usually as said no ram detected...  usually  that says board is still functional ..

closing  the clips wont harm anything that I ever heard off ...

remove the ram and reseat them, they will  go in and click with a bit of force make sure they go  in proper way as they only go one way , you can also  try just 1 stick  then the other stick  on its own to see of  it boots... you can try booting  with the cd drive disconnected and side panel off  it  wont cause any issue for testing purposes..

I finally got it to work. It was a simple mistake. It turns out that the RAM stick was facing the wrong way. I didnt understand because all the videos I watched about uprgrading the RAM on the x51 had the sticker side facing away from the fan. I'm terribly sorry for freaking out when it was a simple solution.

naw bro.. you tried to fix yourself, had a hiccup  and panicked.. no big deal ..  you came here for help,  glad your back up tho..  always watch the socket. stickers can be on either side of ram stick.. so you had a 50/50 chance
