Aurora R10, 850W PSU upgrade, use current cabling?

For modular power supply, they do not share universal pin-out sockets from the PSU.  Therefore, the modular cables are not interchangeable.  All of the retail power supplies come with cables.  Why taking the risk of using the old set.

The Dell stock 550w psu such as D550EGM-00 Dell YXK65 is not modular psu. The cables are not detachable so I don’t understand why OP would want to reuse the current cables?

as mentioned in previous reply, none of the 550w psu cable is reusable as they are all non-modular. When OP upgrades to Dell 850w D850EF-00 or HU850EF-00 modular psu, ideally the whole set of Dell cables should be acquired because if individual missing cable needs to be ordered again in the future it costs more.  If OP want to choose selectively then the must to have cables are 24 pin ATX cable, the 8 pin cpu power cable, two 6+2 pin PCIe power cable, and sata power cable.

The main point is still stay, modular cables can be different from brands to brands, models to models.  For safety, do not use existing cables for a new, different PSU.
