AW2721D, can't connect to a MacBook Pro 16

I just got the new Alienware gaming monitor AW2721D and I need it to connect to a MacBook Pro 16 to do some light work. But after I connect it, the AW2721D went to standby mode for no reason? It is still connected because the cursor will disappear when I move it to the AW2721D, but the AW2721D screen does not respond, I am using a USB Type-C to DP. How do I fix the problems?

Our scope is limited to testing the AW2721D on a Microsoft Windows PC.

Dell Alienware only provided Windows operating system drivers. Apple macOS is not shown. In the online AW2721D User's Guide, there is no mention of Apple macOS. Windows is mentioned 11 times.

Have you tried detecting displays under system preferences, display options or around there?

Make sure the laptop's AC cable is connected to the wall outlet.

Also, if that's not an issue, you could try changing (reducing) the resolution and/or refresh rate on the monitor.

Yes, I tried, I worked for like a few minutes but the issues appear again.

I am using a USB Type-C to DP.

==============

Which one? Try this one.

This appears to be the same one that Apple sells on their website: Moshi USB-C to DisplayPort Cable (or just order it from apple.com ).

Also, as @r72019  mentions ... be sure the Resolution setting on the Apple Mac matches the published native res. of Dell/Alienware monitor.

Are you saying that the Dell AW2721D will not work with a macbook pro? This is basically unfathomable to me... since when are monitors operating system specific?

Need to use the correct USB Type-C connector. Even that might not work.
