Aurora R12, fan questions

Alienware Aurora R12

Alienware Aurora R12

Hello. Are the fans going at the right speed for the temperature. My Aurora R12 is making a weird chirping noise. High frequency. I think it may be the GPU or CPU might be to hot.

Thanks,

Matthew

I would increase the front fan speed a bit to get some more fresh air and air flow inside the case. As long as the temperatures are ok, I would not worry about it.

What the the actual CPU and GPU temperatures?

. . . air cooled or liquid cooled CPU? Are those temps idle or under load? Regardless, a more aggressive fan curve might help.

Hi. Thank you for the reply. I think it may be something wrong with the hardware. The fans are struggling to run. I think it might be the power supply. I have increased all the fans speed but they can't seem to get over 35%. I think the chirping is to do with the gpu as I have done tests on it and the more stress the higher the noise.

Thanks fir your reply. The image that I  posted was of the computer idling. Nothing was running in the background. The only thing that was running was my anti virus but that was not scanning and was using between 0 and 1 percent cpu and was using 0 percent gpu as the app is running in the background and not on the screen. Thanks again for your answer. I'm going to take the computer in to see if something has broken or is not wired right.

No, that will not be an issue. You never posted the actual GPU and CPU temperatures. As long as those are good there's no issue.
