Dell Display and Peripheral Manager for macOS | standard permissions (no admin)
After starting MacBook Pro, M1 and logging into macOS with standard accounts an error is displayed, pointing to missing permissions for writing/copying "DDPM_EAMemory.json".
And DDPM creates seven log-files in the user's home directory (for each weekday), as well. This is bad behaviour and user experience, isn't it? Can this be fixed?

Probably, this is the solution for the permission problem: It's insufficient to run the installer when logged in as a user with standard permissions. Of course, the installer would ask for admin credentials before it may continue installing – but that seems not to be enough. When you log out and back in – this time using a user account with admin permissions, and run the installer, the permissions of files and folders seem to fit even for standard users. I got no permission warnings since then.
