Windows Media Player 10 Not on Add/Remove Programs

I have Windows XP Home /SP2.
I recently rolled back from Windows Media Player 11 to 10. because of an apparent conflict with Sonic.
Media Player 10 seems to be working OK but does not appear on the main Add/Remove Programs list – even under XP Updates.   Anyone know why this is or how to get it to show?
It does appear in the 'Add/Remove Windows Components' panel but should it also appear on the main 'Change or Remove Programs' list? On that list there are only some Widows Media Player 10 Updates but no entry for the Player itself.

Hi:

What you see is normal. You can't really uninstall WMP completely, but only roll it back to a previous version.

It is probably under "Add/Remove Windows Components"
